    What was your first mod?

04 SR5 V8 My first mod was all in one shot when I got it. Running boards removed, the fog light mod, then the sirius install. Also put a sicker on the rear side windows, and a 4.88 rear gear.

Dashboard light up like a Christmas tree

5 sensors, that's nuts. Doesn't surprise me, Toyota rarely cheeps out. I guess replacing all will tell the tail.

Dashboard light up like a Christmas tree

So I drove the Runner around today, after about 1hr on the road all the lights turned off after I parked and turned it off. The only warning on my dash is the tire pressure. I assume there's only 4 tire pressure sensors, so having the full sized spare on that doesn't have the sensor is what's...

Dashboard light up like a Christmas tree

With that being said, In order for the dash to clear. I'd would have to get 4 new tires? I assume once I do it'll all clear. I'm guessing just new rears wouldn't do. Thanks for the reply.

Dashboard light up like a Christmas tree

Hey all, hope all is well an happy. So just a quick question for yea all. I got a flat tire, so I changed the spare over and no issues. Except for all the lights on the dash. Is this because of the chance the spare is a different size or air pressure issue? VSC on VSC off check engin Low...

    Sirius Sat Radio Install question

Yea I totally thought about that. I ran the wire into the weather stripping of the hatch. Then into the break light, I made sure not to pinch the wire when tightening the break light back to the body. That a great tip, " keep the antenna wire as straight as you can".

    Sirius Sat Radio Install question

I guess it's all up to the owner., I do to mind it because no one can really see it. There tons of options out there, I just used what was best for me. I live In location of extreme weather, so anyway I can get a clear signal I'm on it.

    Sirius Sat Radio Install question

I thought about going threw the front pillar up to the Headliner, but I found the way I ran it worked out best. Anything is possible. An easy tip would be plug the antenna in to the reciever. Put the display on "Sat test" and you can move around to different locations testing the signal...

    Sirius Sat Radio Install question

So I got it all installed and tucked away. 2004 SR5 V8 4x4 With the car kit, it included 2 mounts. A suction cup mount and a vent mount. I went with the vent mount, I'll be picking up a plate mount for the dash in the future. So this was my best option for what I had. I went the vent on the...

    Sirius Sat Radio Install question

After searching around online I found a pretty easy way. My plan is to mount it on the rear, I'll run the cord threw the weather stripping on the rear and into the break light. I'll pop off the rear cargo panel and run it along the passenger floor to the dashboard. I'll post up on how I ended up.

Looking for the Goldilocks of 4th Gen Front Bumpers

That set up looks great, looks like a ton of planning and time. Great idea, tons of room for a winch too. Let me know if you find one like this, I'll keep my eyes out as post something.

Tough Decision: Shocks/Springs or Spacer lift

Apparently it was an engineering issue on a with some of the early 4th gen 3" lifts. There new kits include a bump stop. I was just wondering if you experienced it? I assume it was under some sort of extreme load. Anyways with a 3" Toyotec lift, does is stand flat? I know that Toy put a bit...
