MAF was cleaned in june. visually it still looks good. i just cleaned IAC with carb cleaner while the throttle body was off. i may pull it back apart tonight and try to test the IAC.

i don't think so. the only silver thing below my power steering pump is the fitting for the ac compressor.

happened to me, i bought a 99. i did all the tune ups recommended on this post and could never get over 11 or 12 mpg. seemed to run fine, just terrible gas mileage. ran a compression test, had one bad cylinder, the number 1 i believe. good luck

i got my answer today with a compression test. cylinder 1-100 2-150 3-145 4-150 5-145 6-148.

i also just read that elevation affects the reading. i live at 9500 feet.
