i need help figuring out what vacuum hose is supposed to connect to the barb on the intake silencer. i can't seem to find a hose to connect to it. it's been 4 days since i tore it apart and my memory is a little fuzzy. this all started 4 days ago when i got a po122 code(i think). i pulled the throttle body and IAC, installed a new throttle position sensor, but had to wait a few days on a new IAC gasket. i've got it back together and its running, but now it idles around 2k rpms. i'm aware the problem could be the IAC valve itself but i want to eliminate the vacuum problem before i tear it apart again. i tried looking at pics but can't seem to find one with the right angle to show me where it goes. any help would be appreciated.

Not mine. Stole that from the internet. However, if you want to clean it like that, get a couple detailing brushes, time, and APC and go to town. Wipe with 303 Aerospace and you're golden.
Thanks for the quick reply, however now I am really confused. I have a 99, my silencer looks nothing like yours. I have the line from the breather box connected to the charcoal canister. I have the line from the metal line to the barb on the intake boot, however I do not see anyway to hook anything up to my power steering pump. I currently don't know how to post pics. Maybe later after work I can figure it out.

Dont know what to tell you then.Diagram for your car shows the same thing. Its actually a control valve for the AC.

99 so might be a bit different.
i don't see anything like that on mine. does your aftermarket intake have something to do with that?

Well, I have not seen that resonator before but from the position of the nipple, I would look directly down from it.......and maybe to the front towards steering pump?
Come to think of it, I haven't seen that resonator on a 4runner either.

ive not been able to find a pic of one like it either. on the bottom it says TOYODA GOSE 1 followed by 17893-62060. is this some kind of aftermarket replacement? i've had the truck 25k miles with no real issues before now.

Seems like 99-00 are more or less the same in most ways, and my intake silencer looks like the 97 in that super clean pic on pg1. Yours looks totally different. I only have the one vacuum nipple that goes to the canister.
