I put my K&N filter on just a couple weeks after I got my t4r. I couldn't notice any difference power-wise, but in the mpg department there was noticeable difference. I think that the issue of cleaning them is not an issue because just as often (if not more often) as you have to clean your K&N...

I always take off the skid plate on my 93 V6. It seems easier to both get to the drain plug and to the oil filter.

I had a similar concern, but after some reading I wasn't worried. In the owner's manual it says that normal operation is that the pressure be in the lowest segment during idle. It should move past the first mark when you are driving.

This should be a simple question for anybody who has had their 4runner for a while. Is the rear wiper replaceable? It doesn't look like a standard wiper arm connection. Can I buy the whole piece or should I just look at replacing the rubber?

I drive a 1993 4Runner. Over the last year I have begun to notice the rear end sag quite a bit. What needs to be replaced? Is it the coil springs, the shocks or both? Is this something a novice mechanic with plenty of time could do on his own? Is it worth fixing or does it not really effect much?

I have a 93 4x4 4Runner with over 200k miles... I love my truck. I was in to get an oil change last week and my mechanic recommended that I get my valve cover gaskets replaced because they were leaking. Is this a hard job to do myself? I am an amateur mechanic, but I love to do things myself...

thanks again, you guys have been super helpful. is it bad to use the clutch start cancel to start it all the time? any opinion on K&N air filters, I had one on my old Ford. It gave me 1 or 2 mpg better, but is there a risk it's letting too much in the air intake?

it does have ADD, so I can't just lock in the hubs... I have another random question. What does the Clutch Start Cancel do? When should it be used? Thanks for all of your help so far
