Almost forgot...timing belt and water pump were done @ 90K so thats cool. are hoses something that you swap at a certain point...or just wait till one goes pop?

how bout hoses? I assume these are still the factory hoses, no probs but just unsure if they are supposed to be changed regularly or not? so short list here hoses? pcv? grease driveshafts plugs? wires? anything else here?

got a question on maintenance real quick. Need to know what all I should check/replace at this point. Here is a list of what was done previously plugs @ 65K Coolant flush 2yrs ago trans flush/refill @ 70-75K I do synthetic oil at 3K I don't have any current probs......and I'd like to keep it...

My thoughts exactly....I probably could have done it but didn't want to end up hosing the wife's car up ;) Kinda surprised that they were leaking.....has 93K miles on it......guess I was just expecting it to last a little longer. I just had the timing belt/water pump replaced so hopefully...

The tightening did not work.....still leaked. Was going to try to replace them myself but found the intake had to come off as well....not really sure if I could do it or not. Took it to the dealer and they did both for $247, not too bad.

Got a 98 4runner limited....today noticed a oil burnin smell and noticed a little oil sepage on the passenger side.....I checked the valve cover bolts and they were a little loose. I tighted them down, sprayed the engine down, then drove it around for a few minutes...didn't notice any smell...

when the alignment is done they check the camber as well correct? Just checking to see if all this thing needs is an alignment. From what I remember it was wearing on the old tires and I got an alignment....now seems it's doing the same exact thing.

I have some Yoko Geolanders that are wearing on the insides on the front. It drives straight and no problems so I'm wondering if it is indeed the alignment. It's a 98 w/ 79K miles so I'm confused as to what this may be.....any ideas??
