Hey thanks LandRvr Convert. Yeah there is a big difference from the east to the west. I use to live just north of Atlanta so I know the terrain you are in. I'm glad you enjoyed it out here. That's what keeps me here.

I did the same thing washing my truck once so that was one of the first places I looked. It was dry. I really didn't get a lot of water on the engine since it was more of a splash than a submerge. I think something has come loose from the bouncing in the mud but I don't know what. Very...

What I drive - More Pics 1986 4Runner with a SAS, front and rear lockers, 4.88's, 33x12.50's, Downey header, magnaflow exhaust, marlin rear bumper, custom tube doors and more. I have sliders to put on, but no time to do it. 240,000+ miles and still going.

All I can say is that as I have gone wheeling, I do all I can with what I have and then build it up more. The more I do the more I can wheel. I started with a stock '86 which did ok but in So. Utah I live in rocks and IFS just doesn't offer the flex that a solid axle does. I can now climb...

It was a big enough puddle to block any and all sight. I was going fast through it but it wasn't real deep so nothing was submerged in the water. Before the puddle I was bouncing around in some thick mud so something may have come loose or the idle messed up or something.

I would suggest looking at any salvage yards around where you live. Also if you have to, TAP auto recycling in NorCal has pretty much anything and everything. The only problem is that they are kind of expensive. Good luck.

I drove through a big puddle and since then my truck won't run normal. I checked everywhere for water but it is all dry. I changed the fuel filter, spark plugs and wires. It only starts with starting fluid and then it dies if I don't keep the rpm's above 1200. Any ideas?
