Thanks.... my light is flashing but not a rapid flash...is that what you mean?....so the flashing knocks out the 4wheel drive indicator...

I don't have techstream but I was told all codes indicated the front actuator....which again makes no sense....

Update So after 8 hours at the dealership the problem is still not fixed ...they replaced the front actuator but that was never the problem and it didn't fix the problem I brought it to them for repair...they referred the matter to the experts in Toronto and the experts recommended another 6...

Yes it does come on before I push any buttons....I am leaning toward an electrical problem...I will get the locker mechanism off and investigate....

Thanks for the reply...it is definitely the rear locker that is flashing red colour...I can't get to go off...tried driving slowly in 4Lo reverse and forward ...gentle turns and sharp turns it went off for a while then when I turned the ignition off and restarted it came back on...

Flashing rear diff lock...lost 4 wheel drive My 2012 TE wont go into 4wheel drive with the flashing rear diff light on....dealership told me today it is a problem with the actuator in the front and replacing that will fix the rear.... makes no sense to me.... any thoughts would be appreciated.
