Nope, those knobs broke off a while ago somehow (all of em). So there was a bunch of glue in those spots. I took it off tho with a good amount of work.

It will prob be fine for a newer car, but I idled my 97 for about 15-20 minutes one time, when I went to go, the car started going in and out like it was going to stall. So I try not to idle long times anymroe. Maybe rev it once in a while to go through the rpms

you need some tools to do that properly. For now just set your HU to the max you will play it, then turn the knob down to make the sub the volume you want. If you can, try to get it so its not clipping which is the point of the gain knob

LPF should be set to no higher than 125. Depending on your mid strength. HPF for the sub should be set at 25-30. Bassboost CAN be set at about 40hz with as much gain as you want. it just boosts the db at and around 40hz
