Havent had a chance to pop in a long while, but you lot might enjoy this... I just built my first AR and made a goofy video to go with it:

Hey folks, anyone know if something's coming around the corner in the form of a hidden winch mount? I've not been able to find anything that works for a 2014, short of an offroad bumper.
Awesome, I almost started a new thread on wiring, but this is so clean. What gauge wiring did you run? And I'm assuming it's both hot and gnd in the loom?
@audio3x , it's very much connected to the front bumper skin, it's all one-piece and there's no way to remove it without cutting and filling :/
I've gone through this same sort of thinking and photoshopping, unfortunately I cannot even remotely fathom a way to pull it off with the FJ badge that...
Thanks! Actually that first post was just an example, but my setup ended up being really close, just different tires. The last post in that thread has the real setup.
Ah! I had a little rattle as well, generally with a cross-wind on a local bridge and ~65mph travel speeds. I figured that since...
Thanks! I'm really confused, to be honest, because I'm still waiting for it to drop. But with all this stuff added I'm only down 1mpg overall... and the wheels/tires/lift I've had for about 1500 miles now. I am basing these figures off the built-in display, so it could just be really slow to...
50/50 highway and stop and go, not super easy on the pedal unless traffic's clear, and a bunch of added weight and drag (285 duratracs, 17x9s, full set of RCI skids, Drabbits roof rack, and a lift): 15.8mpg avg on 3300miles.
Shogun , I do indeed have the enlarged gap on the ends, and I actually hadn't even thought about curving the fairing on the sides, makes a lot of sense now though. Also, I adjusted mine to have a fairly large gap because I didn't want it to contact the paint on the roof at all, even if it has an...
Thanks -- those are actually the Pro Comp 7069 I mentioned above... more specifically these 17x9s:

Note that I did have to get shank style lug nuts with a cone seat (sort of like a shank lug nut and a tuner lug had a baby). If you use just a tuner...
I've whored this around recently a couple times, but it's my lifted mag grey 5th gen with black wheels (pro comp 7069):

I still haven't had a chance to take decent photos, but here's my relatively new setup:
Wheels: Procomp 7069 17x9 4.75 backspace/-6mm offset
Tires: Goodyear Duratrac 285/70/17, D
Suspension: ICON Stage 5, but with their tubular UCA and no trailing arms yet.
Body Mount Chop: None
