Budbuilt hidden winch mount on 2014 LE
Budbuilt sells a 5th gen hidden winch mount, which I installed in my 2014 LE after some major modifications to the mount. The mount fit the frame and bumper with only minor mods (new holes in the mount for the u-bolts that go around bumper), and the Warn M8000s fit the mount and fit behind the fascia.
The big problems were that the fairlead opening on the mount didn't line up with the grill on the LE, and the fairlead opening was too tall for the the thin opening in grill. To make the mount fit, I cut it in 3 pieces; reduced the height of the opening for the fairlead; lowered the fairlead opening to align with the grill; welded 1/4" thick angle gussets (see photo of mount during installation); bought a thinner (Rugged Ridge) fairlead to fit in the thin height of the LE grill; and added a faceplate to cover my rough welds (see photo of finished install).
Bud was extremely helpful thoughout this process, and dealing with him was a pleasure. He explained that mine was the first 2014 LE install (December, 2013). Perhaps he now has a revised plate that fits the grill.

Do we know if anyone has started building a hidden mount for the 2014+ LE?
Awesome work on your modification but it is beyond my skill level. I'd really like a setup like this.

Specifically for the limited? Not sure on that one. I haven't seen anything yet.
