I just called back the manufacturer. These Side Steps suck big time. Don't even waste your time nor money. No support in the middle and they look like they could last 2 months max before they bend or rust. Be aware.

I am not a very handy man... are these easy to install or do I have to take them to the shop and pay another 200 bucks to get them installed?

I must advise you... avoid the cheap ones. I bought a cheap antenna from Walmart and I ended up paying 300 bucks to get rid of it. What happened is that the antenna got rusty and it broke. The piece of the crew got stuck inside and I had to replace the whole mounting.
