The tape worked, just wrapped it around and used a screwdriver to snug it tight, then pull :D Took like 5 tries for each though haha. Thanks everyone!

I think the metal piece has two pieces sticking into the frame up and down since I did try removing it. Ill try the tape and ill go take another look at it to see if it can be removed thanks.
