Driver side window clunk
Thinking about it a little more, I wonder if it's somehow related to the half way up stop-on-obstruction safety feature. Something in there must signal the half way mark. A switch maybe? The noise does occur at the half way mark.
So far it's just annoying and guess...

Hi, I'm new to the forum...first post! I just picked up my '04 Sport V8 a couple of days ago. I had an '86 SR5 from 86-94 4cyl stick that I loved (let go at 250K mi).
I too have the slight window clunk! -half way down and half way up. I COULD attribute it to the sleet...
