Hi, Has anyone heard of a frame recall on the 2018 4runner. Im in new england and have heard they are having an issue again with frames rotting again. any info would be helpful thanks

What year is your t4r that you have the rattle. have a 2018 SR5, lifted, bigger tires and have no rattles at all. When did this start happening?

i cant complain about it yet, it was worth the install time and everything involved to fix the issue at hand. unfortuntely ive only driven about 250 miles on it with no issues. with that being said, im going to be watching this thread so i can get the same answer to your question as well.

I had the same issue on my SR5P, dealer wanted to fix it by replacing the diff and i was out of warranty by 3000 miles so i owuld have had to pay $3700 to repair. Not happening, so i bouight the ecgs bushing and seal, at the same time got all the stuff to do the job too. $192 and a few hours...

I have also been thinking about the lasfit as well. I have regular H11 aftermarket LEDs, they are good, bright but i dont like how the light is more focused more to right side of the road and not so much lighting up the center of the vehicle. Not sure if its the style led or something else...

I have a 2.5/1.5 spacer lift, only do minimal offroad due to the fact that CT sucks for offroading. I have had it in for about a year and have had zero issues with it so far. I do plan on aftermarket UCA's for better alignment and not being maxed out but other than that its good.

IMO, I think your limited looks great without them. Nice clean look, I want to remove the stock ones on the wifes SR5 but she likes using them. Im gonna look aftermarket when have a little extra $$$$ around.

I have the same kit in my 2018 SR5 P. Simple install and works great. best part about the kit is that it is plug and play. I also have the G key kit. The price was great also, toyota wanted almost 1k to install the factory remote kit. I believe this kit was just over $300. If it is available...

Thats what i was gonna say, i get mine from local parts house. Basically identical to OEM and cheaper. I dont buy anything from dealer, even my oil filters. i Use Wix oil filters as well, cant remember if it was wix for the cabin filter but even that i buy from parts house.

That is crazy. My family business is a garage and part time auto body, i used the autel obd scanner and changed a bunch of things including the windows with the fob and it took aboiut 5 minutes. To charge over $100 is obsurd.
