Would you pay %25 more for a 4runner?

On some things, the price for parts are insane. Had a over the oven microwave. Handle broke. Went online to get a new one. $200 for it. I searched around to make sure I wasn't seeing things and it was true. Went out and bought another over the oven microwave for cheaper.

Would you pay %25 more for a 4runner?

I agree to keep politics out of this, but as I can't afford a new 4Runner now, if this new tariff goes through, I'll never be able to own another one. I have a hangup about owning a used 4Runner, I prefer new ones. Actually I always felt like that with my other vehicles. Unless I knew the...

Would you pay %25 more for a 4runner?

Wow, learn something new every day. I had no idea the mountains and hills here in the U.S. were made in Canada. Gotta update the captions on my pictures of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. :p

Can the 4Runner be considered part of the family?

We all know that all vehicles are inanimate objects. Losing a loved one is obviously more heartbreaking than losing a vehicle. So why would losing a 4Runner affect us so much? 1. We all know money is in the mix. Losing a vehicle due to age, accident, etc... will cost us money in the future...

    Front Wheel Bearing Hub Assembly

Yeah you should be. I let mine go for a longer time and the sound was loud. Got lucky. First chance you get, you should change it out. Broken collar bone? Hmmm, probably best if you find a handy friend, invite him over and have him help you. Feed him a good steak or something too. :)

    Front Wheel Bearing Hub Assembly

1100 is wayyyyy too expensive, even for both. $175 - $275 each depending on where you get it online. Very easy to do. Really the toughest parts are getting the castle nut off (if stuck) and hammering the bearing assembly off. Other than that, not that hard of a job. If you're not...

What did you do with your 4runner today?

I did it 3 times myself (bluepit bearing didn't last long on one wheel). But their youtube video was very helpful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVuM8iVO6u8 In all honesty, not that long to do aside from the castle nut and corrosion. . The hardest was the castle nut. Had to use a 10...

What did you drive before your 4Runner

Stock photos from internet, not my own. Went from this to this and don't want to go back to a car ever again.

    4wd on 2017/2018

Thanks for the info guys. One more follow up question. How do you find the part-time 4wd working with a partial snow/ice covered road where you have bare patches of asphalt?

Does it say how long the application lasts?

    DIY lift gate lock assembly

So an update. I paid $150 from amazon and put it in. For those who were quoted $450 by the dealer, forget it. Do yourself a huge favor and do it yourself or have a friend who is good with stuff like this do it. Totally not worth paying that much for the entire job. Took me 30 minutes to do...

    4wd on 2017/2018

Hi guys, I have a '05 4runner wherein my 4wd is full time with 40/60 on 4hi and 4lo and I can lock my center differential to get 50/50 and all 4 wheels turn at the same rate. I'm on toyota's site reading about the latest 4wd and beyond the buzz words, i'm trying to find info on how the 4wd...

Tires are straight as an arrow. Both front tires are evenly turned as the steering wheel is turned in either direction.

    Steering wheel out of whack

Hi all, I hit a pothole today with the passenger front wheel. This caused my steering wheel to be offset to the right (see attached image) when heading straight. If I straighten out the wheel to what it normally used to be, I will go to the left. With another person underneath, checked both...
