Took to dealer. Cleaned injectors and system. Valve covers were leaking and replaced gaskets. Still same problem. Taking it back in morning. Asked the service mgr if the mechanic checked the timing. He did not know. Told him he needs to do that. Geeeez! Who's the mechanic here???

I do not trust that shop now. The guy had his young son working on it and I think he messed it up. I was wondering about the fuel injectors. Thanks. I did find one of the hoses off and I connected it last night. Thought that would do it. Then took it for a ride and at 70 mph, the ck engine light...

Sorry, I meant Timing Belt. DUH!!! No I had this work done at a shop. I checked all the wiring I can see, but cannot take it all apart as then I would need the gaskets and may as well have done it all myself. : (

1998 4 runner ck engine light stays on I posted this but don't see it on the site, so I am posting it again. I had my timing belt, valve cover gaskets, and plenum gaskets replaced. Now my ck engine light stays on and the codes are 0300, 0302, and 0305. All have to do with the cylinders...
