Thanks BFAD! Rickashay's 4runner is sick, I doubt mine will ever rise to that level, but that being said I am trying to think of a couple of ways to keep this from being a complete copy.
Mods are gonna go on hold for a bit while I do some maintenance, but after that I am probably doing bumpers...
I've been really really bad about logging in and updating this summer, but about 3 weeks ago I met up with Rockdawg and he helped me get the lift and the control arms on. Thank you SO much Sam!
I really love the Icon coilovers and control arms, there is definitely a huge difference in how this...
Hey Rick,
Your rig is looking awesome. I have really been on the fence with the 7069's, and knowing that these fit the Tundra brakes I think my mind is made up. Are yours the model # 7069-6883 with the -12mm offset?
I looked into it at my local discount tire and they would charge $16.00 per tire. Additionally, Discount Tire Direct is $12 more per tire for the Duratracs I was looking at in the local retail store, so when all was said and done there wasn't really that much of a savings.
YMMV depending on...
I just got tint done on mine a few weeks ago with Lumar ceramic high performance tint, and it makes a huge difference in the heat.
One other thing to be aware of, the 3m crystalline tint does not match the factory privacy glass and will be noticeably different.
Look at the great and UV...
231mm TBU Complete! I used the thread that BigFishAllDay put together here:
http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/94923-hard-find-specs-info-measurements-231mm-13wl-tundra-calipers-rotors.html
He also came up with an adapter for the Motive power bleeder for one-manned bleeding...
This thread is so full of win! I am in awe of the detail and thought you put into the evolution of this truck.
The detail and the fantastic pictures have really been a help with the planning I've been putting into mine, and thanks to your TBU write-up, I will be tackling that this weekend...
I was going to replace them with so stainless steel lines when I do the Tundra brake upgrade. That was the main reason for doing it, since everything will already be apart.
Does anyone know offhand what the length for new brake lines (Front and Rear) needs to be when lifting 2-3"?
I've done searches on here and YotaTech and can't seem to find this info. Thanks in advance for any input you guys might have.
Totally agree with this... and I've read so many threads on it, but just been on the fence about it over the looks. Then this morning I saw what Blcktpgsr did with his ARB and I think the debate is now over.
