Has there been any closure on this problem? My 2006 4Runner maint light flashes 4 or 5 times after ignition then goes out. It is NOT the light telling me to change my oil. I’m too lazy to try and find it on the manual so I checked here first and see someone else with the same issue.

I appreciate all of the reply's to my post. I have completed my 1200 mile trip towing my trailer with ATV and other stuff, and the truck was really loaded down, 32" tube TV (very heavy), computer and other household stuff, could not fit anything else in it and could not see out the side or back...

Hi all, I took my first trip (350 miles) pulling a trailer with my ATV on board, about 2000 lbs total. Overall I'd say the 4R did pretty good. Only thing I did not like was using the cruise control at 70mph going up and down hills on the interstate. It was constantly downshifting all the way...

Last week I made 360 trip I have made many times and never had to worry about getting gas the whole way. Except this time I was hauling my trailer with an ATV on it and naturally I got less MPG, but I still didn't think about gas until I ran out on the interstate going about 75 or so. Good...

My wife traded her 04' CRV in for an 06' RAV4 and loves it. I'm not too crazy about the 4cyl but it is a nice little car. I traded my 04' Accord in for my 06' T4R 6cyl Sport on the same day and she likes driving mine more mainly because of the 6cyl and wishes she would have got the 6 instead...
