ya, our other light rescue is a silverado, which is nice because it can carry so much stuff, but we wanted something for the new one that was more practical for daily driving, seeing as we put on around 20-25,000 miles a year & gas keeps going up, plus it's impossible to park the huge truck...

ya, we're planning on getting a brush guard and a winch at some point, but for a volunteer agency, we buy things somewhat in stages. also on the short list are some aftermarket shocks since the ones on it will wear out way too quickly with the load it's carrying.

comfortable seating for 2. it is staffed 24 hours a day by one of our rescuers, who responds direct to calls in it from work/school/wherever they are, so usually it only has 1 person. & if it's going on a call, the driver will be wearing all the stuff in the back driver's seat, so it can squeeze...
