Move the spare tire to the cargo area and mount a 26 gallon tank from an F150 for an auxiliary tank on your 4Runner where the spare tire use to be located; you'll be running 700 miles between fills!

Try check the owners manual for an emergency fuel shut off switch for the fuel pump. First to see if it is equipped with one and second if it is, to find its location. I am new to 4Runners just purchasing my first a month ago, a '99 Limited. But I know most '80's and newer Ford's are equipped...
