Update: After holding out on releasing the car and giving them indications of how much it may be worth they decided to repair it. I ended up taking a payout to repair it myself, of their appraisers estimate minus the tax and half the labour

Does the rear bumper come with OE atachment brackets?

Difficult. But doable? Are there any parts that are permanently fixed, ie. riveted in that would be impossible to move over? thanks

I am wondering how hard this would be to undertake, or even possible? I have a rear ended rear tailgate, and have found one in a local salvage yard, same colour as mine with the inner guts missing. Basically have to move all the inner guts off mine to the new tailgate cheers!

How does the pricing work for buying back? Is it based on a percentage of appraised value?

I am in Ontario, private insurance here but mandated by the provincial government under Ontario Automobile Policy. Was yours declared a total loss? How much did you have to pay to buy back and did they pay fair market value for it?
