Both passanger and driver seats are in need of replacement tears on both sides however I feel the passanger pad is in better shape then the driver side so I could do the swap when I try to replace all covers. Just trying to find the best leather covers for best price. I have been looking at...

So trying to get all the correct parts my 1996 e locker swap. So my truck does not have the push button 4x4 on gear shifter when looking for a new front axel 4.30 does it matter if that one I am taking has it or not? Thanks

Ok thanks for the info I am looking to save some time on this upgrade. Remember e brake side and both mine and new axel are abs ones so that checks out!

So I am planned by to do the elockers swap on mine but the axels and breaks are a bit rusty on my elockers one so was curious if I could use my 4.10 axels with less rust on break drums? Guess I need to count the spline see if they are the same? Or did they only have one axel for our generation?

So I see where they are saying "by reversing the polarity of the green and green/red wires " should engage and disengage the locker? Does this sound correct and is that all I would need to do to see if it's worth buying the axel? Thanks for the help.

Just the rear axel some wire and a battery? I would not have the switch or the 4 x 4 module.

so e-locker axel with out the switch and module am I able to put 12v to some of the wires of the harness see if it still works?

I am also in the same boat as you however he said from the get go it was going to be 5-8 weeks. I will call in January if I don't not see a tracking # hope it makes it here in plenty of time so I can install it before my trip.
