No I didn't think about checking the resistance or voltage prior to removing the intake. I guess I will give that a try first this weekend. I do have the Chilton's manual, and it does an ok job of going through the intake removal, but if you happen to have something better it would be greatly...

Also, since I will be digging into this, what should I replace/work on while I have the intake manifold off. I figure clean TB and new gasket, new vacuum lines, maybe injector o-rings, not really sure what else I will have easy access to.

Thanks BWI. Looks like I will be taking a shot at troubleshooting this myself next week. Am I correct in assuming that the entire manifold needs to come out, not just the upper portion?

Autozone is only showing the P2440 code, Orielly's is showing the P2440, P1441, and P1444. Not sure about the C1201, that one only showed up when I paid $35 to have the codes read at a shop with their more expensive reader.

I had the battery and alternator checked. They said the battery was bad, so I got a new one and put it in. The truck ran great for a about 2 mins or so, then the VSC and check engine light came back on, and it went back into limp home mode :(
