    Road crown pull

You may not do much better with Camburg UCA'S. I installed them on my 2016 along with a 3" lift and was only able to achieve 2.9 degrees of caster. In my opinion they suck. My basis for selection was they offer a Moog sealed ball joint vs an open type. A slight difference in caster and...

Left side leaning on T4R 2011 Limited no X-Reas

I understand now that the picture is included. Looks like the garage surface slopes left? Measure each side from the fender to the center of the wheel and then find a level spot and repeat. My garage has enough of a slope to cuase a slight lean. A left pull while braking can mean a glazed...

Left side leaning on T4R 2011 Limited no X-Reas

You talk about left lean and alignment pulling left in fist paragraph. Do you mean that your vehicle does not sit level but leans to the left or does it pull to the left while driving or both?

Help with Daystar rear spacers on LE

I would start the conversation by asking why they installed the bump stops on the bottom. They may have a valid reason. Good catch though, let us know it pans out!

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

General Maintenance 1. Replaced OEM engine air filter w/ K&N. 2. Changed engine oil at 3K to Mobil 1 synthetic. 2. Partially stripped two front skid pan bolts. Tip - replace the factory self tapping bolts for the front skid pan with regular bolts and this wont happen. WTF Toyota?

Considering purchasing a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Jeep is a poor choice. A buddy of mine purchased a new Grand Cherokee and promptly sold it after spending a good deal of time in the shop with climate control system problems. I sold my '13 JKU at 25K miles and purchased a 4Runner. I took the Jeep dive and escaped (fortunately) unscathed...

Any Reason NOT to get Shrockworks Sliders/TE Rocker trim?

Interesting to note that the C4 come bare steel only. The C4 weighs 62 lb. ea. and the Shrockworks weighs 45 lb. ea.

    5100 Install problem

You do not need to separate the LCA from the steering knuckle if the coil overs are pre-assembled. When I installed my ARB coilovers (3" lift) I had the rear wheels on the ground and the front sway bar disconnected on both sides. I also had the upper ball joint disconnected from the steering...

    KDSS warning indicator

Ripping out KDSS would definitely have a knock on effect and is probably break even with a costly repair. Makes you stop and think about purchasing a Gen 5 with KDSS though. If you plan on keeping your 4Runner for more than 100K miles is KDSS worth the risk?

Does this TE hood look repairable?

What did they do to the hood to achieve alignment?

    KDSS warning indicator

No. I looked at the rear axle on my 2016 w/ KDSS and the mount points for the conventional sway bar are not present. Also the brackets to attach the end links to the frame are not present however the holes for the bracket are present (both in red below). I also examined my front frame...

    KDSS warning indicator

I'm going to go out on a limb with this idea (but not under my vehicle to check it out because it is about 20 F and snowing), and maybe I'm stating the obvious. I believe that all of the link points for the conventional sway bars are present on the Gen 5 4runner with KDSS. I remember from...
