i want it to be fun to drive and fun to work on, i can live without gas mileage and practicality. thats what i want and jeeps are a pretty damn good fit for that, but so are 4runners

well the rough ride is part of the fun of a jeep. plus, if you keep a jeeps engine properly maintained those engines will run a long time with no problem. but i still need to shop around and see what i can find in the way of 4runners cuz i already found a good jeep

i just got my 86 t4r like a month ago and as of yesterday it is totaled. i was drivin down the road and some lady was in the lane next to me and she turned right into me and really messed up my front right bumper (plus headlights and turn signal) and my suspensiion in the front right side. so...

i dont think its that no one wants to buy it, i know i would if i had the money, its that this forum isnt the best place to try to sell your runner cuz theres so many people from diffrent places, and the chances are that people wont want to travel too far to get it, i think it looks good though...

ok, i got the tach installed, finally, plus a got a set of fog lights which im still seeing spots from, and im painting my wheels black in a couple of days. my truck is actually starting to look not bad

wow good idea, i just went out and bought some wheel paint for my 4runner, btw, did you somehow edit that picture? cuz there's like too front ends on one car, it looks very odd

well i just got my truck liscensed yesterday and it actually passed emmision the first try. i think i wet myself when i heard that but anyway, today I just bought an aftermarket tachometer for it but since im not that car knolagable i cant really figure out how to put it in :( i read the...

it came from the norwest (washington to be specific) so im actually suprised theres no rust.

nope, no rust, the body is in good condition except for the right part of the front bumper and the back bumper is bent. but the engine needs some work considering the car has been just sitting there for about 2 years

ok, i just checked it out and at least in washington, when it fails emmisions you have to put 150 bucks into it then if it fails when you take it back you can still get your tabs even though it didnt pass, just thought that might be a useful bit of info for someone, ant btw, i know the truck...

just a little update to what ive done so far. i replaced the starter the other day, and im just ordered 4 3" wheel spacers and im getting some bigger tires. but i have a question, since the tabs havnt been renewed sing 04 im pretty sure im going to have to do emmisions and im also pretty sure...

lol... probably would have taken me about 6. but yes, i didnt have to do it but the previus owner did
