Reviving an old post. I got one of these VIAir 88p for christmas. Now I want to use it as an onboard air unit. Is this possible? Safe? The unit already comes with an in-line fuse.

Cut off the clamps already I already plugged it up and placed it under my seat where I want it to be and the only issue still is that the little LED is lit up even when the compressor is off.

Do you miss the e-locker? I know from experience how helpful the A-trac is by itself but wondering if a rear locker and and the A-trac (in the front) would work in unison. You gotta find this out for me RipCord :P Edit* Oh, Your last build had the e-locker. You already know the answer to this.

don't need it. When I got a new head unit they took it out. If they don't have the factory head unit in then that can be thrown away. But is it even broken? I might still have the one they took out hanging around. If it's not broken you can just throw it back in.
