Saw all your guy's pictures on Facebook, look sweet and made me jealous!
The picture where your rear tire is spinning/the trucks parked on the embankment, there's a trail that goes down into the canyon right there and there's a cool old mine and jailhouse and some old vehicles down there and then the trail is a little "harder" and goes back up the opposite side towards the Sugarloaf parking lot. There's also an old bridge and mine about 100 yards before the Sugarloaf parking lot that a little side trail goes to. Food for thought if you ever go back since Switzerland trail is pretty boring but there's actually a lot of cool mining gold rush era equipment you can drive to that no one really ever visits!

Do you miss the e-locker? I know from experience how helpful the A-trac is by itself but wondering if a rear locker and and the A-trac (in the front) would work in unison. You gotta find this out for me RipCord

Yes, lots of people have swapped an e-locker into an 01-02 with TRAC/VSC.

And you still get the benefits of having A-trac engaging in the front? If so that makes for a super capable rig

Yup. Most capable you can get with OEM parts.

Air or other? I keep spending my savings that's eventually gonna go to ARBs but I really want my rear locked now. So 500ish for a detroit locker keep sounding better and better for the time being. Thoughts and don't do it's are welcome. lol
Nice vid. Some good looking rigs there. Snow wheeling can be so fun.

Yes, ARBs. $500 ish will also get you an elocker retrofit. Best budget selectable locker.

Yeah. I've done my research and know what I want and what I don't. The elocker swap requires me to modify the housing. SInce I'm going ARB eventually I don't want to do that. I had a line on a full third member with wiring but passed. The Detroit is pretty tried and true and it's a super easy swap. Then I can focus on getting ARB up front. Then eventually pull the Detroit and replace with ARB. Then Craigslist or fleabay the Detroit. I'm thinking I could get at least half what I pay for it back. So for 250 plus a few hours of my time I'm locked for now. Or I could suck it up and wait till the piggy bank gets a little fuller. Goddamn I love first world problems. lol

I'm sure we'll meet this summer, our mutual friends circles overlap quite a bit! And I'm sure you know CO as well or better than me, I only know my neck of the woods and usually everything is too broken/slow to want to go much outside of that haha.
