Just moved from NY. New to Montgomery County. Following!

I'm a permanent resident here now. Everything else to my name is changed to Maryland, and I also don't want to stick out too much when I commute everyday.

Moved from NY. Need someone in Montgomery County for inspection. FAILED on window tints, XenonDepot HID 5ks, and SAE DOT approved Rigid Industries PnP fogs.... Does anyone know someone who can help? I have 25% on front windows, and a 4" 25% strip across the windshield. and BRAND NEW 5k HIDs...

Good to know. Yesterday I also spoke to someone from Maryland RMV and was told the same. Title from NY, MD inspection, and MD insurance policy THEN a trip to RMV.

Had the truck at the dealership for regular maintenance... figured they would do an inspection at the same time to knock it out. I grew up on Long Island/NYC. It was definitely worse than it is up here in Syracuse. Ended up finding a private place that didn't care and got inspection done/passed.

That's exactly what I had done to mine. The reason why they're so tough here in NY is because there have been situations where an officer cannot see inside the car at night with dark tinted windows and the driver/suspect has been armed. It's understandable for officer safety.

I wish. NY has an absolute no tint front windows law, where in Maryland you can have 35%. I thought about that, but wasn't sure whether if I drove down early, if they would still inspect the truck with New York plates because the car isn't registered in Maryland yet.

Literally just had a woman hit me in the same exact area of my 4Runner. Luckily, insurance handled it, but you're looking at about ~3k worth of damage just for that. Glad you're safe, though.

Great idea on the scupper holes. Was trying to figure out how else to keep them from sliding!
