Did you check the calipers and rotors? Stuck calipers will pull, esp. if its on one side. Warped rotors if severe can give some vibration while rolling as well as when stopping.

I love ours, we like to roll with the rear window down and man that self dimming mirror is a gem.

I personally would drop in another engine. It is a bit of money if you don't do it yourself, however as long as the rest of the runner is good as far as frame, suspension and trans wise it will last a long time, and is still cheaper and will have more reliability that a new car.

Our ABS was doing it on our 01, and after installing new rear axle seals, cleaning all the sensors and bleeding the brakes and this fixed the issue for us..not sure if it was a coincidence but worth a shot.

Yikes, had the throttle cable on my old 7 series stick on the engine cover and rocket me to 110mph before I could toss it and neutral and coast off the road haha. Talk about a wakeup.

Do you need the tank with pump and sender? Or just the tank? I have one Id let go pretty cheap in good shape from a running 4runner I just sold the engine and trans out of, Im in north Ga so not too far probably.

I still feel like the tires have a little to do with it, especially if you know one of the tires already has a bulge. Age, wear and brand have a lot to play into it. It does happen Im sure, but Ive never had a wheel bearing that made noise in a certain speed range but not at slow to medium or...

Yeah I would definitely take it back to the shop if its under warranty, especially if its starting to slip.

Our 98, 99, and 01 LTDs dont have em.

Picked the wife up this 2001 Limited a few months ago, still working on getting all the bugs worked out....have to get some better pictures I know. Very envious of all the 4x4s in this thread.
