Plugs got it idling but no power over 1500 rpm. Seafoamed the vacuum line off the break booster and in the gas tank made a little difference but still idles rough.
Checked the intake boot and everything is tight and closed. I changed the fuel filter and still the same problem. I think it may be the spark plugs so im changing them later today.
Okay I tightened up all the hosings clamps and made sure everything was sealed. Still getting the same problem and if I give it gas while it's idling it cuts off so im guessing the extra air is the problem like you said. Any ideas on where else it could be coming from?
1994 3.0 SR5 I just replaced the mass airflow sensor and it went from sputtering and not starting to starting up and idling for a few seconds then dying. It sounds a lot better than before so im pretty sure that was the major cause of my problem but now its started whistling while its running...
