Finally upgraded and installed 700lb springs in my icon coilovers. One was an absolute ***** to install due to corrosion on the shock body. I had to soak it overnight, scrub all the rust off and used a big ass monkey wrench to even get the adjustment cap to spin.
I istalled an ARB bumper and a...
I typically travel with 2 dogs, one being a 120lb rottie so I put a lot of gear on my roof rack to leave space in the truck. Also, I don't have rear bumper so I store my spare tire and all my camping gear on my rack plus the mounts for my awning. I bought a Gamiviti rack and have been super...
Camped at Ironclads this weekend. It’s a really fun trail close to Allenspark, CO, which isn’t too far from where I live. It was busy but for being a holiday weekend and so close to home I can’t can complain. One of the trails takes you up to the remains of an airplane crash in 1965...
Hit Moab over the weekend for my first time. We did Lockhart Basin to Hey Joe Canyon to Finns n Things. I’m glad I had the bumper, winch and skid plates!!

I was getting tired of the sag in my 2” Icon rear springs when fully loaded so I decided to upgrade to the 3” Overland springs from Icon.
I’ve read several posts complaining about the stiffness of the springs w/o a rear bumper but I’m actually happy with the unloaded ride so far. It’s a little...
I bought a 2006 Limited 4x4 with 60k miles and one owner for $18k in Roswell, NM.
I don’t feel like I got a great deal price wise but the truck was in immaculate condition with zero surface rust.
Id recommend expanding your search to NM and be patient if you have that option. It took me 4...
Bonus check landed in the bank account on Friday so I drove down to Slee to buy an ARB bumper and a Come Up Seal 9.5rs winch. Thankfully, it all fit in the back of our mountain go cart (Honda Fit).
Installed everything today and I think it looks fantastic. Looking at online pictures I always...
Hey man- How is the MT LT Medium setup?
I have the Icon 2" rear springs and I'm getting a good amount of sag in the back when loaded up with camping gear and dogs. I don't have a rear bumper.
Trying to decide between the Medium and Heavy so I'm curious what your thoughts are after having them...
do not miss the side trip to american basin. its super short but incredible wild flowers. drive to the end and hike up the creek a bit too if you have the time. american basin is a great place to get out of the truck and have lunch, snack, beer etc.
animas fork is an old ghost town thats...
ran the alpine loop (engineer and cinammon pass). it was surprising timid given it had a blue rating the colorado 4wheel drive book. the views from engineer pass were some of the best ive ever seen and the side trip to american basin is not to be missed. most wildflowers ive ever seen. prepare...
thanks man. its such a clean looking and versatile rack. tim, the owner of a gamiviti, claims its no higher than the stock roof rack. i havent measured, but its incr3dibly low profile and has next to no additional wind noise.
