Cleaned up the Tundra calipers I bought from the wrecking yard. Now they are a Ford Engine Blue. Waiting for them to fully dry then time to put them on. Thinking about getting pads and rotors from Napa

Replaced passenger front brake hose and brake line to caliper. Sucked to find out I needed it replaced in rush hour traffic. :wtf: Luckily I had some vice grips to keep it from leaking till I could get parts for it today.

Since this is a year specific question I thought I'd post here instead of in the Audio section. Sorry if this should be in the other section. If it does maybe a mod can move it. Anyone try mounting 6X9s in their rear doors ? I used to have these in my 87 but they were mounted to the roll bar...

Ah so those 2 together is like having the DEX-P1R but with power outs ? Sweet ! I still need to get me some amps to run my DEX-P1R again. Sold the amps with the 87 4runner but I took the deck out. But my 99 had a AVIC-U310BT in it when I bought it so I'm in no big rush to get my good deck in.

That's where I mounted my SCII. Sent the wire right above the vent through the plastic of the console. And being in the Pac NW myself, we RARELY use the vents. It's usually the defrosters ;):

I think they are upgraded Toyota rims since they are 16s and stock the 4runners came with 15s. My friend insists they are after market rims. And according to the dealer sticker, that I found in the glove box when I bought this, the original owner bought the 16s from Toyota

Exactly what Millerad said. I have a '99 and have the Scangauge instead of the Ultragauge because of the added bonus of the trans temp sensor. If you don't need it or don't want it, get the Ultragauge and save a few bucks

Is your check engine light coming on ? My 99 started to do that then threw out a faulty TPS code. Put an ohm meter to it and it was still in spec but a friend had an extra TPS so I put it in to test it. Still threw out the code so I put my old one back in and after my next fill up, no check...

Wasted $55. Got a CEL, checked the codes and it said P0120. Ok so checked TPS and the ohms seemed to be off. Bought new TPS and installed. Cleared codes and about 1/4 mile from home...CEL came on again. Same P0120 code. :wtf:
