If by "serviced religiously" you mean the oil was changed, that's great and all, but the water pump is kind of an important component, usually changed with the timing belt. You're going to get questions about this until you can back up the "serviced religiously" comment and provide specifics.

123k, believe it or not. It was spotless, inside, outside, and underneath. And yes, I crawled under it at CarMax. Because of the miles, I researched the crap out of it. 1 owner, serviced exclusively at a Toyota dealer in KC where it lived since original purchase, timing belt/water pump done...

I didn't have them appraise it, but I would suspect somewhere around $3500. I knew, though, that if I traded it, it would go to auction and end up on some random used car lot, and that made me sad. I want to find someone who can appreciate it and take care of it.

This thread is epic. Every one of us who has done the TB/WP job is thinking, "Damn, that could have been me..." and we all want to see you figure it out. You've got lots of moral support for what it's worth.

I also have a Curt receiver. I installed the harness behind the panel in the driver side cargo area, near the tail light. Then I ran the line with the 4-pin connector under the trim piece that holds the carpet down (where the hatch meets), under the panel in the passenger side cargo area, and...

Plugs are cheap. Better to find out now than after they're installed and you're misfiring all over the place. Good luck.
