My 07 $runner SR5 has downhill assistance and CLD switch available. There are connectors on the wiring harness for all other switches that are not available on my car. If I purchase switches and relays would I be able to get those options, or they need to be upgraded in software also?

Yes I took the dash out, I have only one switch on the side and it's cdl switch. I don't have RSCA switch available on my car. Now it's possible that connector is available without switch. I will check it out. Thanks
