I need help. I was rear ended last week and had to replace my lift gate. I have a 99 SR5. I bought a 98 Limited lift gate and the connector for the power window and wiper is different. On the vehicle side it is a 4 pin connector. On the 98 gate side it is a 8 pin connector but only using 6 pins...

Got a small puff of smoke from under the dash a bad smell like chlorine and then the fuel gauge dropped to empty and the empty fuel light starts blinking. Can anyone help me out as to what is going on? Or what needs to be replaced/fixed?
