I'd vote for bedline for the exact reason you said.
I've always loved powder coating, but for something that will just get scratched up anyways, you might as well save the money and bedline so you can just touch up as necessary.
Another option apart from chopping the body is new UCA's.
Just get adjustables like Icon, TC, etc and have whoever does the alignment set the caster forward some. UCA's are IMO a good idea anyways because with a lift your alignment is going to be off and the front will wander (mine does with...
