I wanted to share and get feedback on light options and color. Mainly I want a light configuration that works for camping. For me this means low level and warm - like the stock lights, ha ha. But for curiosity I ordered and installed these yesterday. For the dome and rear door (got 2 need 3)...

Driving style is the biggest factor. 10-15% boost from a lead foot to light.

I'd be interested in what interior lights you chose. I wouldn't mind a neutral 5k interior, just not super bright and not blue (6-7k) and not extra warm (3-4k). I am leaning toward red door marker lights too. I truck camp all the time in the desert and set up camp in the dark with flashlight...

Not always. When camping I prefer dimmer interior lighting as I don't want my eyes blasted everytime I need something in the truck - which lets me see better in the dark/dim. Same when passengers turn on interior when driving at night.

I suspect a pink tint sticker such as the one shown will not have sufficient filtering capability to produce a red or even solidly pink beam. Probably would only look a bit pinker when compared to unfiltered.

I pinstriped mine real good on the passenger side when it had ~300mi on it - down to the white under paint for a few of the stripes. I expected to, so it partly doesn't bother me, but... The reason it happened is carelessness on my part. Prior to new 4R I drove a 14yr old beat up truck before...

I wanted white/silver for all the benefits of a light colored vehicle discussed here. Dealers in the trim I wanted only had red or blue. I test drove the red, wife much preferred the blue. She was glad there was not a white option at the time as she has never liked our white vehicles. Waiting...

That happens. My wife always says her car runs better after an oil change... ... even if I don't do one and just re-set the light. ;)

blue is beautiful and so are the clouds - 4R has ~250mi on it at this point.

I only got $50 per stock tire with 35mi on them from DT when I purchased new KO2's. I tried hard to haggle to $60 ea, but they wouldn't have it.

Agreed. I keep mine at max dimness at night and use the LCD screen off function. My eyes are very susceptible to glare due to glasses and medical condition. The glare of the dash at anything but max dim is enough to wash out my vision.
