Struggling with maintenance on my newly purchased 2001 As someone who knows very little about cars, I just bought a 2001 with 97k miles on it and wanting to handle some of the basic maintenance as well as a slight grinding sound I'm hearing on acceleration up to about 35mph. I'm in orange...

Yes I need to find someone to take a look. Wanting to learn since so many here are so able to work on their cars themselves and diagnose things but I guess that’s my expense for not knowing haha

At both rolling and sitting idle, anything over 35 also makes the sound go away. And I haven’t really checked anything, just haven’t driven it much. I’m mechanically super limited so it’s frustrating trying to figure out what might be basic checks for others. I have little to no clue

Apple Carplay options? Are there any unit options for apple carplay that sit higher than where the stock unit is? Seems a bit pointless if the screen isn't more of eye level than down below

Just picked this beauty up on Monday. Drove it down through the crazy snow storm and through the redwoods on the way home. 2001, Limited, 4x4, 95,700 miles Think it has a rough country lift in the back but not sure about the front. Excited to get some things done to it!!
