ECU has nothing to do with window switches. I compared the switches in my 97 to some in a 99 in a junkyard and the plugs were different so I would say they are not swappable.

Where did you find those fog light switches that fit in the stock openings? I had one that came in an old fog light kit but I can't find anymore that fit.

Are these really all the interior differences between 96-98 and 99-02? Are the dash, gauges, door panels, seats etc pretty much the same across all years?
