Nope didn't quite figure it out til I moved here. Also, would rather have a car that doesn't have trouble finding the "sweet spot" between gears.

I think it is too, neither I nor my mechanic has seen it yet, but there's no way I'm paying 10k+ for a car older than 10 years haha.

Awesome, yea CO really put the Exploder to the test, and it failed miserably really wanting a 4runner for reliability. One of my buddies has a 97 that has close to 300k miles. I dare to dream haha

Thanks all, yea after checking everything I'm thinking that this is overpriced and dealer is yanking my chain with the whole "none of our vehicles are marked up." I have it overnight, gonna get it checked out in the morning, but definitely taking it back and gonna make an offer for less.

So I'm looking at buying an 08 4runner SR5 4X4 with 109000 miles for $17,000. It looks really good to me and I'm having it checked out tomorrow morning, but before that...am I being stupid and overpaying?
