I removed mine and the only thing I regret is not doing it sooner. The ride is greatly improved and if you just remove the front sway bar only, there is "slight" more body roll I can notice when exiting the freeway, other than that it rides great and does not have a loose or floaty feel to it...

I removed by front sway bar and my under carriage rattle went away. Cant explain why, but the rattle is gone. Not to mention it handles soooooooooooo much better. Acts more like an independent front suspension now. The only regrets I have is not doing it a long time ago. :beer:

I removed my front sway bar and that took care of my so called "clanks" everytime I went over a hole or bump in the road. I did this on my Tacoma when I was having the same type of issues and people told me to remove the sway bar and it will go away...and it did and now it works on my 4Runner...

Overall the plug looks pretty good if they truely have 70K on them but what concerns me is that the threads look unusually wet. Do you have a valve cover leak?

**UPDATE** I removed the sway bar earlier and I must say...WOW...should have done that a long time ago. The truck rides sooo much better. Highly recommend it! It also got rid of the "clanking" sound everytime I go over a bump in the road, so it was definitely tied into the sway bar. :guitar3:
