Could someone open their hood and take a photo of the release linkage mounted on the back of the hood? I just need to see what I am trying to do to get it to open up. It's difficult to tell when there's only a small crack to look in.

I see the link to a jpg file but I don't see an actual diagram. Am I doing something wrong? ETA: I think maybe you have the pic in an album that isn't 'public'.

So I found out today my hood latch mechanism is broken. I can pull the latch inside the car and the hood pops up. But when I went to work the lever under the hood, the lever was flopping loose and as I felt around a little more a metal arm fell onto the ground. I'm pretty sure I know how this...
