I have a Pro with about 300 miles and it has a similar odor, but I only notice it inside the garage. I'm pretty confident it will resolve itself.

I have a 2007 V8 with 45,000 miles and it shows a bit of coolant seep at the water pump. Somewhere there is a TSB that explains it as normal if reservoir level isn't dropping. I too was concerned and wanted it fixed before extended warranty ran out. The TSB eased my mind.

This! Went down the road a few weeks ago. After two days and two techs both experiencing clunk they finally agreed to fix it. It was a battle royal. The extended warranty people are cheap crooks! It was worth the fight. Love not waiting for the bump after hard braking.

That's close to what I get at those speeds in a 2007 V8. 16-17MPG.

Toyota glass is very soft and has pitted easily for years. I've had two other Toyota's without coated glass and they both were severely pitted due to salted/sanded highways.

I also have a 2007 that had a melted hatch mechanism. They initially declined the warranty but I appealed and they folded and replaced it. I think it was a case of squeaky wheel getting the grease. I'm really squeaky!

Yea I have a 2007 runner and it's driving me crazy. Toyota knows about it and can't seem to come to a solution. I called and let them know that it was unacceptable on a 30 thousand dollar vehicle. They were sympathetic but offered nothing more.

I'd bet the farm the exhaust header is leaking. This is a well known problem with the 2.7L. Check out the tacomaterritory forums for tons of info.
