    Brake pedal click??

If it's just a click, it should fade over time as the truck breaks in. When I first got my 03, the brake pedal vibrated with an electronic buzz every 3-4 times I pressed it. I called a few dealers and some said it was normal, others not. I looked through the manual carefully and concluded...

    Somewhat Lumpy Idle

My 03 V6 does the same thing and I tried to get the dealer to diagnose it a year ago, even to the extent of calling in the Field Service Tech. They hooked up all the electronic gizmos etc., and found nothing wrong. As I sat in the vehicle and let him know every time I felt the "kick-shudder" ...

    '05 T4R vibration...?

Tires (Michelin Cross Terrains) and rims (17" Toyota) have been examined multiple times at different shops on the GSP9700 Road force machine. Nothing found out of spec. I gave up trying to figure it out a while ago. Not worth the BS all over again. It's noticeable enough to get on my nerves but...

    '05 T4R vibration...?

My 03 V6 2WD's steering vibration is neither wheel balance or alignment related and it still hasn't been fixed. It's been over a year. However, it's not as bad as it used to be. Just pay close attention on the test drive and if anything feels off, drive another.

    Brake pedal vibration 03/2WD/V6

I told them it's not normal for the brake pedal to vibrate every 3 or 4 times I press on it, so please fix it. I also copied all the pages out of the manual (related to Brakes, Traction Control, and VSC), and hi-lighted all areas that talked about buzzes, alarms, and vibrations. I gave it to...

Steering Wheel Vibration at Highway Speed...revisited

Everyone does not have it... I do though. Drives me nuts. Mines actually smoother when accelerating, worse at a steady speed or decelerating, especially below 50 mph. I think there are different problems on different 4runners causing different vibrations.

Creak in Right Rear and Dash Rattle on '04 4X4

Hawk, did you drive with the seats down?

Creak in Right Rear and Dash Rattle on '04 4X4

I only have 2 rows. If you have 3 rows, you may have different issue altogether? Keep us updated on the result of your drive with seats down.

Creak in Right Rear and Dash Rattle on '04 4X4

For what it's worth, when my left rear seat latch was causing noise, I was absolutely certain it was coming from outside the vehicle, in the rear, and suspension related.

Creak in Right Rear and Dash Rattle on '04 4X4

Click Creek Clicking brake pedal every application is not normal booster function. Maybe every few times it's pressed, but not every time. My clicky/pulsation brake sysmptoms were very annoying at first but I don't even notice it anymore after 5K miles because it's more faint and less frequent...

    Feeling vibration at 1700 rpms

Weird. All these varying vibration issues. Mines an 03 V6 and I have been unable to eliminate my vibration problems through the dealer, suspension shop, tire stores, or Field Service Tech. The first problem is a vibration or what some might characterize as a missfire or bounce in the motor...

    04 4runner "leaning"

I complained about this 5 months ago and hardly got a response. If it's any consolation, the vehicle has settled a bit. Sometimes it appears to be be tilted a little and other times does not. The FST from denver says most of them are like this and doesn't know why.

4th Gen - Squeaky Rear Seat

Wrap a piece of tape around front of metal hoops that rear seat backs latch onto. This should eliminate the problem until you take it to the dealer, who, will either lube or replace the latch.

    2003 Brakes Hissing

Biff Mine hiss. 03 SR5 2WD V6. Others have mentioned it in the past. Not all of them do it. I'm guessing Toyota has used different master cylinder designs along the same year. I've driven other identical 4runners to mine with no hiss and different braking performance.

    Steering Shakes at 60-65 MPH

If it goes away after warming up, it may be a "flat-spotting" issue, where it sat at the dealer lot without being moved for a period of time. Give it a little more time and see if it cures itself.
