I thought about that but a guy I watched install one on his 4r, it seemed to be fairly difficult and not practical to uninstall and reinstall for smogs. But at the same time its every two years so it wouldn't be terrible. Then again I would have to keep the old one so theres pros and cons.

Hey guys I've been wanting to install a y-pipe on my 06 V6 for some performance and sound gains but am worried it won't pass smog since I am, in fact, getting rid of emissions related things being 2 of the 4 cats. Has anyone, in California, gotten away with it?

tbh i might not be. I believe i am though, theres two that i'm getting, the slip yolk that I inject grease in till I see it seep out and the driveline that I inject till it expands. Any more I should be doing? Pictures so i know what to look for?

v6, 4wd, i'm not sure if i could determine whether its coming from front or rear. Probably front is my best guess

Mainly because throughout my research thats what people have been referencing most. Also I just replaced my front pads and rear pads/rotors less than a thousand miles ago so it can't be that.

I just replaced the rotors and pads in the rear and pads in the front, and im still getting trash mpg which is annoying :( and just 2 days ago I got the URD maf calibrator to hopefully add some power and get better mpgs so i'll lyk what my results are after my first tank with it
