"Ignore" V6 head gasket issue?
Head gasket sealer was put in my v6 by previous owner. It overheated on me because this stuff clogged my radiator and it burst at the seam. When I repaired HG, I flushed many chunks of this sealer crap out of the coolant system. I don't recommend it. 05 v6 2wd HG repaired at 183000 miles...- Outfront

Head Gasket Question.
You may have it repaired already. But I got a Fel-Pro Head Gasket (#HS26330PT). It is the improved design. And new head bolts. Fel-Pro was recommended by pro mechanic. While replacing HG I also installed new timing chain, VVT sprocket, water pump, belt, all pulleys and tensioner. Compression...- Outfront

HG Failure 2005 V6 01/05 production date 180,000 miles 2wd My friend who is a professional mechanic is repairing it for me. He recommended Fel Pro head gasket kit. So that's what I ordered. Along with the recommended new head bolts.- Outfront
