I wish I would have done this. I thought they would just do the things I asked, but they chopped my pedal and re-flashed my ECU. I don't think the ECU re-flash will be an issue after doing some research. I made them order a new pedal, but it's just as short as the chopped off pedal. My options...

The service manager ordered an OEM pedal for me free of charge. They are also installing a module to my stereo to connect to my smart phone or ipod, and gave me a loaner car, all for free. I'm still pissed that they did unauthorized work.

Question Answered I contacted DayStar technical support to ask this question and was told that if the suspension were to fully compress, that it would contact the factory bump stop and not bottom out the shocks. The tech support guy said that they considered this in the design.
