You are way off on the sizes! A $5 steel heim is NOT strong enough!!! Even if it held up it would wear out in a few months. When it comes to heims bigger is better because of the increase in wear surface area. I personally do not recommend heims on the street. They wear quickly and your runner...

I've been on the the Eastern side from Blackrock Station, but I haven't run the whole thing. I don't think it's too difficult. It may be harder this year from the lack of rain!
