I know this thread is old but is very relevant for me right now. My light went out on my fan speed knob. Knowing how to remove that, I pulled it and saw where the bulbs were. I wanted to verify if it was indeed the bulb so I swapped the bulb with the center knob. Then neither of them worked...

Do you currently have NAV or 6 disc? They are different. I have a spare 6 disc JBL from an '04 because I bought one and then found it wouldn't fit. I had the single disc JBL. I then found someone with a 6 disc and they wanted to upgrade to a NAV. Bottom line is the 6 disc is different...

FYI - I did this swap from a single disc JBL to 6 disc and everything went well. You will not be able to swap a non-JBL stereo for the 6-disc, only the single disc JBL. I also have a 6-disc JBL unit if anyone is interested.

I have an '04 V8 with a Yakima rack and no issues, no modifications.

Pics of the K&N FIPK.. finally. Pic of the filter is before oil - I forgot to take an after pic, but it has been fully oiled. And on the mats, they didn't clean up as well as I thought they would.. Here's some pics.

I have a K&N FIPK for a 3.4L V6 '99 - '02. It was used for about 30,000 miles. I just cleaned it tonight and will re-oil it tomorrow. I will include all original items except the recharge kit (since it's almost gone). I even have the original box. I'll post pics tomorrow after I get it...

For me, it was a no brainer... I got the Sport Edition. I am 6' 3" and I fit just fine with no major complaints (although I have driven a 4Runner since '99 and before that I had an Exploder). The sport has a leather wrapped steering wheel, steering wheel stereo controls, hood scoop, bigger...
