One of my bushings is toast after only 25,000 miles. They may be OEM style, but they certainly aren't OEM quality. I'll be replacing the bushings with genuine Toyota parts.

The trailer will have much more tongue weight than a tow dolly and a trailer will also weigh a lot more. I think it's a no brainer to go with a dolly.

You want a dolly that has surge brakes. U-Haul will know if theirs do.

As I inadvertently learned today that the wiper and defroster are disabled if the window is not fully closed. Possibly it's not correctly sensing that the window is closed or something is in the upper track that is keeping it from fully closing.

Just get a cheap angle grinder from Harbor Freight, put a cutoff wheel on it, and cut out the part you don't want. Faster and cheaper than paying some shop to do it.

I had Bilstein 5100s on my 3rd gen and they were harsh. You'll be disappointed with them if you want a better ride than stock.

If you can find a shop that just does differential work, you'll be much happier with the outcome than if you go with a jack of all trades shop.

I have the Airlift bags on my 3rd gen and they don't leak down. They really are the best solution if you want to adapt to widely varying load.

You can look up the part numbers from an online Toyota parts dealer and see if they are the same.

Does 4WD work? I bought a lower mileage '08 last summer to replace my '00 and the 4WD actuator was stuck and 4 Lo wouldn't engage.

Fill up the radiator. It should be filled to the brim. Then fill the overflow tank to the cold line and drive for some days and see if the level in the overflow tank changes much.

Did you take off the radiator cap and see if the radiator was full? If the radiator isn't full, fill it first.

Many dealerships have an express lube service for which you may not need an appointment. I've just used a drain pan that had a lid on it when in the same situation.
